We came to appreciate the benefits of cannabis when Lauren was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in 2013 where she found medical marijuana to be incredibly helpful during her treatment for pain, anxiety, sleeplessness, and lack of appetite.

She continued to find and try new products over the next decade, mostly oils and balms, to help with every day inflammation, soreness, and pain, and shared her favorites with the women she met through their own cancer battles as an advocate for holistic relief.

We have been a part of Jeffersonville since 2002 and are proud to be a significant employer and contributor to our local economy since 2017. The mission of the Heartwood, LLC, family of businesses is to bring joy, support, and fulfillment to the local community.
